The Venerable Jay Cayangyang, Rector
Father Jay was installed as the Rector (Senior Pastor) of Bishop Seabury Anglican Church on July 17, 2015. Previously, he served as Canon to the Ordinary for the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy of the Anglican Church in North America.
Father Jay was ordained a deacon and a priest in 1996. He has served churches in California, Virginia, and Florida. As a chaplain in the United States Navy Reserve, he has had numerous active-duty and reserve assignments including mobiIization with Marines in Iraq. In addition to his parish responsibilities, he serves as Archdeacon of the Northeast for the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word.
Father Jay enjoys reading, walking, studying maps, and visiting historical sites. He and his wife, Linda, have five children.

The Reverend Art Hayward, Deacon
Deacon Art was ordained to the Holy Orders of Deacons in April 2016 at Christ Church Anglican on the Main Line, Wayne, Pennsylvania. He serves at Bishop Seabury Anglican Church, Gales Ferry, Connecticut and continues his seminary studies at the Reformed Episcopal Seminary, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Together, Deacon Art and his wife Judy have four adult children and three grandchildren. They have been a member of Bishop Seabury Church for over thirty years. Deacon Art is a Professional Land Surveyor and has been in private practice since 1975. His office is located in Mystic, CT and practices in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. As a past time, Deacon Art enjoys saltwater fishing.
